Barton Ross is a preservation architect and city planner who has contributed to master plans for the Virginia State Capitol, the United States Capitol, the World Trade Center and Princeton University. Mr. Ross has been recognized for his dedication to historic preservation by the National Park Service, the Secretary of the Interior, the Vernacular Architecture Forum and the Society of Architectural Historians.In addition to being the managing principal of Barton Ross & Partners, LLC, Mr. Ross serves on the Board of Directors for Preservation New Jersey, the Chesapeake Bay Chapter of the American Institute of Architects and sits on the Kent County Historic Preservation Commission. He is a graduate of Columbia University, the Virginia Tech School of Architecture + Design and holds a Master’s Degree in Historic Preservation from the University of Pennsylvania.
