Stephen C. Marshall "The Historic House Guy"is owner of Stephen C. Marshall LLC. We have been been professionally involved in the restoration business since 1975.
Having worked with his father for years on many historic buildings, Stephen gained experience in all facets of the trade, acquiring such skills as timber framing, plastering, custom millwork, masonry, epoxy consolidation and general carpentry. This full spectrum of the historic building restoration and preservation skills have taken him from the bottom of a well to the top of a steeple and everywhere in between for repairs.
Chosen Wood Window Maintenance, Inc. provides full service project management to achieve your historical restoration project goals within the standards set forth by The Secretary of the Interior’s Standards for the Treatment of Historic Properties. We aim to protect and maintain original components and features of the overall window and building.
At Window Restoration & Repair, Inc., window restoration is our only business. We service the counties of Los Angeles, Orange, some of Riverside and some of San Bernadino as well. Our clients are home and building owners, property managers, general contractors, designers and more. We work on historic commercial buildings, private residences, public buildings, national landmarks, condominiums and high rise apartment buildings. We are saving southern California’s historic architecture one window at a time.
Historic wood windows were designed to last for the life of the structure and often they can be restored to provide hundreds of years of performance while maintaining their original detail. Re-View has perfected the process of wood window restoration through years of experience and by investing heavily in facilities, equipment, materials, and people. The Re-View team has restored literally thousands of historic windows.
Restoration Works, Inc. maintains a spacious "State of the Art" restoration facility set up to easily handle large scale projects as well as smaller ones. Our labeling, documenting, and tracking processes allow us to control projects and deliver them on time. The work flows from station to station, which are all set up with appropriate equipment for historic work, implementing the latest cutting edge technology where possible. We have exceptional craftspeople, eight of whom have been restoring historic material for over sixteen years, and six for over ten years.
Our restoration process maximizes the life of the window or door we are working on.
