STACKABLE
WINDOW WEIGHTS
Architectural Resource Center

Architectural Resource Center's patented square stackable weight system, designed by ARC founder Bob Markarian, allows you to easily combine different size weights in any combination. Create the perfect counterbalance for any window sash. Our round window weights come in two sizes and diameters. They can be ordered with or without plastic sleeves, which keep the weights aligned when sliding inside the weight pocket and safely encases the lead in plastic.

CUSTOM HARDWARE ORDERS
Allied Window, Inc.

Ball and Ball offers the services of our craftsmen to perform repairs on your original hardware, or to produce exact copies of an existing item. We can produce sand castings and lost wax castings in brass, bronze, aluminum, and iron. In addition we create fabrications in steel, copper, brass, bronze, tin, and pewter. We can design and fabricate almost anything in metal, and have been doing so for over 70 years. Chances are, we have already made (at least, once) the item you may need. Send us your original hardware and we can refinish and polish it like new. Send in your original hardware for an exact quotation or send a drawing of what you need and we will give you a price to produce it.

190 YEARS OF
EXCELLENCE
Tremont Nail

The original Tremont Nail building was constructed by shipwrights in the early 1800's as a cotton mill. It was partially burned by the British in the War of 1812, then rebuilt and purchased by Isaac and Jared Pratt in 1819 to manufacture nails. The mill was partially destroyed by fire again in 1836. Reconstruction was completed in 1848 and the mill stands today as it did then, without any significant changes over the past 150 years. There are 60 nail machines in the mill, many over 125 years old, still cutting nails today the same way they did a century and one-half ago. The main mill is one of five buildings on the site over 100 years old.

SASH BALANCES
Pullman Manufacturing Corporation

Pullman window sash balances are the preferred solution for new and existing double-hung wood window installations and for historic renovations and restorations where the original look of the windows must be preserved. An added benefit is the ability to insulate the old lead sash weight pockets during installation when the sash is removed.

FOUR GENERATIONS
OF COMMITMENT
TO QUALITY
Horton Brasses, Inc.

Orion Henderson / Horton Brasses Presdient: "My great-grandmother, Angeline Horton, was an antique dealer with a need for fine hardware. So my great-grandfather Frank Horton, using his skills as a tool and die maker, began making reproduction hardware in 1936 in his basement. He established his reputation by making hardware for many of the finest antique dealers in the east. Jim Horton and his wife Barbara took over the business from Frank. They in turn sold it to their daughter Barbara and her husband Toby Rockwell (now retired). Those generations held to Frank's high standards, added foundry expertise, and expanded our product line. I hold the reins now and hope that maybe one of my children will want to join the business. I'm proud of our heritage, and continue Horton Brasses, Inc. commitment to producing the finest cabinet and furniture hardware, and the finest customer service".

Tremont Nail

As America's oldest nail manufacturer, Tremont Nail is in a position to offer the older patterns of cut nails appropriate to the period of restoration being undertaken. In addition to a variety of styles of nails, Tremont Nail can provide information to help the restorer in determining the authenticity of a project. Cut nails possess great durability. They are hard to pull out because the shape causes the wood fibers to push downward and wedge against the nails, thus greatly stengthening their holding power. Once you have used them, you will prefer them for all sorts of applications. For over 200 years, Tremont Nail has achieved a reputation for skilled nail cutting that has made its product readily saleable throughout the markets of the world. Through all the changes and the hurried pace of modern industry the same product is still being produced for customers who prefer the superior holding power and durability of this time-tested nail.
