Jim Illingworth Millwork, LLC's custom mill shop produces architectural, historical, and traditional millwork with over 5000 knives dating back to 1892 to match existing profiles on windows, doors and moldings. We custom build historic reproduction wood windows, storms and screens as well as wood doors and moldings. Our products are handcrafted using mortise and tenon joint construction, the same way our forefathers did a century ago. Our focus is on restoring old traditional houses and historical buildings and meeting our customer's needs. We work with architects, builders, designers, contractors and homeowners. For over 125 years, Pullman Manufacturing Corporation window sash balances have been the standard for double hung wood window restorations and replacements. Pullman window sash balances are the preferred solution for new and existing double-hung wood window installations and for historic renovations and restorations where the original look of the windows must be preserved. An added benefit is the ability to insulate the old lead sash weight pockets during installation when the sash is removed. Pullman replacement sash balances are the easiest way to replace sash springs or original double-hung window sash weights, chains and pulleys. Installation can be completed without removing the window sash via a mounted bracket on top of the sash. Pullman replacement sash balances are available for window sash weights between 5 and 105 pounds. To determine window sash weight, place any ordinary household or bathroom scale on the sill and lower the sash until its full weight is recorded.

For more than 30 years Architectural Components Inc. has specialized in building reproduction and custom wood windows, sash, doors, doorways, and architectural woodwork for hundreds of residential, commercial and institutional restoration and reproduction projects throughout the Northeast and Mid Atlantic. In addition to museum-quality reproductions, we also make energy-efficient true divided-light windows with insulated glass and muntins as narrow as 7/8-inch. Blending traditional detailing and joinery with modern technology, our 18th, 19th and early 20th century windows, doors and doorways have been approved by numerous historic commissions.

Olek Lejbzon & Co. designs and custom fabricates wood windows, using traditional joinery and balancing techniques. We fabricate, finish, and install windows to last for hundreds of years, in any design or style, from flamboyant Gothic, to Palladian fanlight, to traditional double hung, double sash weight balanced designs. Our windows' long life is attributed to mortise and tenon joinery using solid rot-resistant lumber. Only highly rot-resistant species of wood are used. We suggest storm windows as an alternative to insulated glass, for thermal efficiency, long life, and low maintenance. Where insulated glass is required by Building Code, more dependable, "warm seal" insulated glass units are specified in place of earlier aluminum seals.We make windows in any appropriate wood or finish, and can match windows to match interior antique woodwork. We custom design one or hundreds of windows, and embrace unique designs and large scale windows. We fabricate in any shape; round, oval, elliptical demi-lune, rectangular, and flamboyant arched windows, with hand carved muntins. We can also glaze the windows with any type of glass. We have large stocks of antique wavy glass. The wavy appearance of this glass is realistic, unlike the new restoration glasses.
